Olga Gurevich

Piano 

 

Olga Gurevich is enjoying her career both as a concert pianist and a piano teacher. She earned her Master's degree in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy at Gnesin Academy of Music, and then finished her post graduate studies at Maimonides State Academy in Moscow, Russia. Olga is a winner of several international piano competitions both in solo and piano four-hands divisions, including Ragusa Ibla Foundation International Piano Competition (solo and four hand divisions), and XIII International Piano Competition in Salerno, (solo piano.) In the years following her graduation, she performed widely both  nationally and internationally. At the same time, she was teaching at the piano faculty of the Maimonides Academy.

In 1998, Olga moved to New York, where she continues pursuing her performing and teaching careers. Venues she appeared at include Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall, 92nd Street Y in NYC,

Smirna Opera Theatre in Delaware, Westport Concert Series in Connecticut, Scuola Civica in Cagliari, Italy, and many others. Her performances were broadcasted by National Television in Azerbaijan, First TV Channel in Russia and RAI Tre in Italy. She collaborated with Manhattan Symphonie, Richmond County orchestra, New York Session Symphony orchestra and performed as a member of numerous chamber music ensembles. In the summer of 2015, Olga performed at Silver Bay Music Festival in collaboration with the Silver Bay string quartet. Her future engagements include performance of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with New York Session Symphony Orchestra and solo piano recital at Saugertis Pro Musica concert series.
